Welcoming Window for CC2C

Welcome to our CASEing Coast to Coast post for May! Each month, Rosanne Mulhern from Pennsylvania, and I from California, take turns Copying And Selectively Editing each other’s designs. We started adding a theme this year for a little variety. This month, Rosanne picked Slimline Cards for our theme. Here’s a look at her creation.

Beautiful! You can read more about her card HERE.

And here is my CASE. I chose the Welcoming Window Bundle and the Plentiful Plants Bundle to create my slimline card. The idea came from a brick apartment building I saw. The plants on the window ledges are so… urban horticulturalist!

The window ledge and potted plants are all popped up with Foam Adhesive Strips.

I rounded the edges of the sentiment strip which gave it an interesting shape. A tiny Linen Thread bow and some silver sequins give a fun little finish.

Wonderful cards both yours and Rosanne’s! I get it with the macrame hanger. I made a lot of them. Love the bricks as well. Just so much fun. I need to think more about that set.

  3. I absolutely love this card, Karen! You certainly nailed the “urban” vibe. I wish I had this set to create a card for my city dwelling, plant loving daughter. I may have to consider purchasing it…thanks very much! Another fun CC2C in the books!

    • Thanks, Rosanne! I love this plant set ~ you should get it! The macrame hanger got to me the minute I saw it. Very 1970’s and now back again! 🙂
