I needed a birthday card for a man who loves the rugged outdoors. What more perfect set for that than Waterfront?!
A simple layout – a Tranquil Tide base card, Wood Textures DSP cut at 2″x5-1/2″, a 1/4″ strip of Early Espresso across the middle, then the art piece.
I used the sentiment from Sweet Serenade in Espresso. The scene pulled together with Crumb Cake, Tranquil Tide, Espresso, and So Saffron.
I stamped the scene onto a 2-1/2″ x 3-1/4″ piece of Whisper White, then I layered it with Early Espresso, probably 1/8″ larger on all sides. I never actually measure the layers, just hold it together and cut a little bigger! (I know, very scientific!)
Quick and simple today, since it is Christmas Eve! I want to wish you all a very beautiful and blessed Christmas!

Stunning card. Paper color choices are spot on and you choices of ink colors are so complimentary.
Thank you, Sharon!
