Varied Vases with Nature’s Poem DSP

I’m thinking of you today and want to give you a vase of flowers! So Varied Vases Bundle became my tools of choice.

Once again, I’m using this beautiful Nature’s Poem DSP (love!), this time layered over Whisper White, and adhered to a base card of Tranquil Tide.

I added a band of Whisper White across the lower middle of the card to give my vase and sentiment a place to sit. I actually tried many versions of this and landed on this arrangement! I was looking through my file folder with scraps of Sahara Sand and found an old piece that I had embossed with the Argyle Embossing Folder (Retired 2015) and tried punching the vase out of it. I like the pattern on the vase! If you no longer have this embossing folder, I think there are many others that would also look awesome.

I stamped the flower image first, using Sahara Sand ink. Then I stamped the centers of the flowers with Tranquil Tide, stamped off once. I took my Tranquil Tide Stampin’ Write Marker and touched up the centers of the flowers.

I stamped a little bit of “ground,” again with Sahara Sand, using a stamp from Touches of Texture. And then I added the vase with two little Mini Dimensionals on the back.

“Thinking of you” is from Colorful Seasons and I stamped it with full strength Tranquil Tide. I added a bit of Linen Thread to create a bow on the vase.

I made an envelope using Crumb Cake cardstock and my Envelope Punch Board, then covered the flap with a 2-1/4″ x 6″ piece of Tranquil Textures DSP, Tranquil Tide.
