Valentine for CC2C

It is one of my favorite days of the month – CASEing Coast to Coast – with my friend, Rosanne Mulhern in Pennsylvania! She is starting our post off today with a gorgeous Valentine for CC2C. True to her style, her card is elegant and sophisticated. Here is her card ~

As you can see, I focused on the multi-layered look with scallops in between. And I had the same greeting stamp that she used! It comes from the now-retired Meant To Be stamp set.

I know you’re asking, “Did she stamp all of those overlapping hearts?!” The answer is, “No.” 🙂  This is a sheet from the vibrant Sweet Talk DSP that is in our new Spring Mini Catalog. I’m in [heart]!

Card Details:
  • Real Red Cardstock base, 5-1/2″x 8-1/2″, scored and folded at 4-1/4″
  • Basic White Cardstock cut with the largest of the Scalloped Contour Dies
  • Highland Heather Cardstock, 3-1/2″x 4-3/4″
  • Basic White Cardstock cut with the second largest Scalloped Contour Dies
  • Sweet Talk DSP, 2-5/8″x 3-7/8″
  • Fan Baker’s Twine (red and white striped), wrapped around the top two layers twice and tied in a bow
  • Valentine greeting from Meant To Be stamped in black, then heat embossed with Clear Emboss Powder
Envelope Touches:
  • Real Red Cardstock, 1/2″x 6″, glued to the top of the envelope flap
  • Sweet Talk DSP, 1-1/2″x 6″, glued right below the Real Red strip
  • Highland Heather Cardstock, 1/4″x 6,” glued right below the DSP strip
  • Sides trimmed to the flap proportions
