Valentine Chocolate Sleeves and a Sneak Peek!

This is one of my favorite projects ever!  I’ve been making these little Ghiradelli Chocolate sleeves for 3 years now, each year with the new Stampin’ Up! products from the Occasions Catalogs.  Yep, this is a sneak peek at  a couple of new products, available for purchase on January 5, 2016.  Aren’t these papers cute?  They are just 2 of the sweet prints that come in the new 6″ x 6″ DSP Stack called Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack.  I can’t wait for you to see the rest ~ they include Blushing Bride, Crumb Cake, Garden Green, Rose Red, and Whisper White.  Perfect for Valentine’s Day and beyond.

This “Be Mine” sentiment comes in a new stamp set called Bloomin’ Love, also available January 5.  Here’s what it looks like:

Won’t this make lovely valentines?  It comes in a bundle too with a gorgeous heart Thinlit.  You’ve probably seen it on other blogs – very lacy and large!

I’m showing you this project today with this week’s Weekly Deals in mind.  The Ornate Tag Topper Punch is on sale for only $17.25 now through Monday, Jan. 4.  Click HERE to see the 25% savings on 4 popular items.  Here is how I used the punch…

Start with a 6 1/2″ x 2″ strip of cardstock.  Locate the middle and score 1/8″ to the right of the mid-line, and 1/8″ to the left of the mid-line.  Then punch both ends with the Tag Topper Punch.
Place and glue a 2″ square of DSP just above the top score line.
Decorate as desired.  Fold on the score lines, bringing the two holes together.
Thread a ribbon through the holes and tie in a bow.
Slide the candy square through the sides and give it to someone you love!

You can stamp a To/From on the back as well.  So easy and so cute!

P. S. The Scalloped Tag Topper Punch works well on these, too.  See it HERE.
Now go make a bunch of them.  They are very easy and very fast.  If you have any questions about the project, please ask!  I will get back to you right away.  Have fun!

Until next time ~
Karen
