The only thing that would make this card more fun is a pocket for a gift card to an ice cream shoppe! This card will be great for anyone, any age. Go ahead, treat yourself — or someone else!
You can make this card (or its gift card pocket twin!) with the Sweet Ice Cream Bundle and some Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper.
Here is another card I made using this bundle.
Card Details:
- Cinnamon Cider Cardstock, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, scored and folded at 4-1/4″, and 5-1/4″x 4″ to glue DSP onto
- Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper, 3-1/4″x 4″ (top), and 2″x 4″ (bottom)
- Basic White Cardstock, 2-1/2″x 1-1/2″ for Stitched So Sweetly Die, scrap for ice cream cone, and 5-1/4″x 4″ for inside
- Cinnamon Cider 1/4″ Ribbon, 6″ and 4″
- Champagne Rhinestone
- Stamp label with “Treat yourself” and Cinnamon Cider ink. Stamp inside sentiments with Cinnamon Cider and Calypso Coral inks.
- To make the ice cream cone, stamp the cone with Cinnamon Cider and the crosshatch with Soft Suede. Stamp the ice cream with Highland Heather and the sprinkles with Blackberry Bliss. Punch both out with the Ice Cream Builder Punch. Attach the ice cream with Dimensionals.
- Add the Champagne Rhinestone.
And its gift card pocket twin ~
Start with a piece of Cinnamon Cider Cardstock, 5-1/2″x 11″, score at 4-1/4″ and 8-1/2″. Decorate the left side with a piece of DSP measuring 5-1/4″x 2-1/4″. Punch a finger notch, put Tear & Tape on the top and bottom of the pocket, fold in and adhere down. Add your gift card, then decorate the front the same as above.
