Hi there! Rosanne and I are back with another Creating Coast to Coast posting for you! This month we decided on a Halloween/Trick or Treat theme and I’ve made a card that is too cute to spook! We’re starting with me this time so we’ll be traveling from…

I’m using some fun paper from Stampin’ Up! called Spooky Sweet Specialty Designer Series Paper. This pack comes with two sheets of punch-outs that add to the creating fun.
Here’s my card:

And this is how I made it (so simple!):
- Start with Pumpkin Pie Cardstock, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″.
- Add a layer of Basic Black Cardstock, 5-1/4″x 4″.
- To that, glue the scenic background DSP. This door scene is part of a larger sheet with several scenes to cut out (see below). I trimmed it to measure 5″x 3-3/4″.
- For a little sparkle, brush Clear Wink of Stella over the pumpkins and flowers.
- Drape and glue the banner flags (punch-outs) across the top.
- Fussy cut the trick-or-treating pig out and adhere him with Dimensionals. I also backed him with white cardstock for extra support.
- Stamp a sentiment into the doorway using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I found this sentiment in a set from Spellbinders. Isn’t it perfect?
Here’s the paper:

For a closer look at each sheet, click HERE. Check back on Friday for additional ideas using this paper!
And the inside uses a sentiment from Fright Night by Stampin’ Up! plus another cute critter punch-out.

That little pig looks so delighted with the treats he just received, doesn’t he?

Time to transport east to Pennsylvania to see what Rosanne has made! Click HERE to go to her blog, Heartfelt Stamping.
Have fun making these cards for your little “goblins”! Have a sweet and safe Halloween!

Could you hear me “snort” with laughter at the little pig? I bought this pack for the pig to be fussy cut and hippo. Bernie isn’t allowing me to make many cards or treat holders but I have it for next year as well as the paper. This is too cute. I do want to make a couple cards and might have to CASE yours. The doctor I worked for in Houston figured I liked pigs since I was from Iowa so was constantly giving me pig stuff. So, I gotta make her a card. Well done my friend.
Karen, both your card and Rosanne’s card are total cuteness! I love the sentiment you found in a different stamp set. Just shows it pays to hang on to all our stash! Enjoy your day!
I think your card is absolutely adorable! I’m going to take some inspiration from it to make a card for Luke! This was a fun month of CC2C. See you in November!
