I’m back in the crafting business! Yay! It feels like I’ve been moving forever, but my craft room is (sort of) put together and I have been enjoying some card making this afternoon. While things were in transit, this beautiful new pack of Designer Series Paper arrived and I have been itching to break into it. It’s Regal Winter, and in my opinion, it is gorgeous! I put Thoughtful Wishes on Regal Winter to make this pretty card.
Simple Details:
- Cherry Cobbler Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
- Basic White layer, 5″x 3-3/4″
- Regal Winter DSP (red floral), 4-7/8″x 3-5/8″
- Regal Winter DSP (green plaid), 3″x 3″ then cut on the diagonal to make 2 equal pieces
- Vellum for the Thoughtful Wishes Die branch, 3-1/2″x 1-1/2″
- Basic White for sentiment, 2-1/2″x 3/8″
- Sentiment from Thoughtful Wishes, stamped with Tranquil Tide and attached with Mini Dimensionals
Inside:
I had the extra triangle from the front, but it seemed too big to put in the corner, so I cut it down to 2-1/8″x 2-1/8″, then had a strip leftover. I decided to use the strip rather than throw it in the trash. It’s different. Kinda artsy. I guess. You can let me know what you think. It’s definitely optional, but sometimes ya gotta try something new!
The Envelope:
I took two strips – the floral at 3/8″x 5-1/2″ and the green plaid at 1/4″x 5-1/2″. Trim the bits off the ends of the flap and you have a coordinating, dressed up envelope for your card. Pretty!
Tomorrow is CASEing Coast to Coast! Come back and see our spook-tacular creations for October! See you then!
