I’ve been enjoying the more simple designs in card-making lately. Have you noticed? Well, maybe with the exception of Wednesday’s post for CC2C, I’ve been using one DSP, one die, and one stamp set. For example, this one I’ve titled The Beauty of the Earth is Flourishing. The title certainly isn’t simple! But the card is.
Clean and simple, with white on white, I’ve used one 2″x 4-3/4″ piece of Beauty of the Earth DSP, and an Evening Evergreen branch from Forever Flourishing Dies.
“Hello” is from the Quite Curvy set. I stamped it with Evening Evergreen. Then I finished it off with three Evening Evergreen 2021-23 In Color Jewels. They add such a pretty sparkle!
To add a little more, one could emboss the 5″x 3-3/4″ piece of Basic White with an embossing folder. I lifted that panel up from the card base of Thick Basic White with a piece of craft foam. I do love how the craft foam gives all-over even support that won’t crush in the mail.

Great card. Love the colors and the white space. I have trouble with white space but I think I will be CASEing this beauty this fall for sure. Though, the foliage in the DSP could be flowers from our yards even. We have some burgundy iris and some rusty colored ones and then lots of yellows, oranges, reds and pink plus plenty of greenery. I really love this card and the hello is just perfect!

I like the simplicity of this card. What color of CS did you use for the center square? and what size please?
Thank you so much! The color is Merry Merlot cut to 3″x 3″ and the basic white is 2-3/4″x 2-3/4″.
