Thanks AND Giving

I had in mind a different Designer Series Paper for this Thanksgiving card, but because of a mistake, I ended up using these Farmer’s Market prints.  And I’m so glad I did!  I am quite happy with the way it turned out.

I started with a base of Mossy Meadow, then embossed the top layer of Very Vanilla with the Boho Chic folder.  When I started putting strips of DSP on it, I realized that my paper had a white background, not vanilla.  So my search for vanilla brought me to Farmer’s Market with Blackberry Bliss accents. The colors are so rich together, aren’t they?

I hadn’t received my new embellishments yet when I made this, so I went through my retired box of goodies and found this wooden leaf that I sponged with Blackberry Bliss, and then I added the bit of Blackberry thick Baker’s Twine, also from my retired box.

The sentiment is from Lighthearted Leaves.  The little flourish above and below the text is from Tin of Cards stamp set.

What do you think?

Until next time, Happy Stamping!
