Welcome to the Pals November Blog Hop for November. We’re so thankful you stopped by. This month we’re showcasing projects that feature Stampin’ Up! Thanksgiving and “Thank You” products. We hope you enjoy our creations.
You may just be starting the Blog Hop or you may have come from the previous blog on the Pals Blog Hop listing shown below. The full lineup will help you move along from blog to blog so you can enjoy each and every beautiful project.
I’ve been wanting to use this bear on a card ever since I got this set, Thankful Forest Friends. I’ve used the charming sentiments a few times but until now I hadn’t used the bear. He is so cute!
This simple-looking card has quite a few-although easy-steps to it. First, I stamped the bear in Early Espresso and fussy-cut him out. The Designer Series Paper layer is the Soft Suede wood grain paper from Into the Woods. The sentiment, also from Thankful Forest Friends, was colored with Soft Suede, Pear Pizzazz and Rich Razzleberry by sponging the color onto the stamp with Sponge Daubbers. I used Circles Framelits #6 and #7. Stampin’ Dimensionals pop up the circles and the bear. A wooden element from Into the Woods points to the sentiment. A quick dash around the circle with the Pear Pizzazz marker gives a little added interest.
For the inside I stamped a leaf from Vintage Leaves with Pear Pizzazz, stamping off once. (I forgot to add Vintage Leaves in my list of product below. If you would like to see the set and/or order it, click here.) Over the leaf I stamped Happy Thanksgiving by masking and piecing 2 stamps, one from Tin of Cards and the other from Lighthearted Leaves.
Not forgetting the envelope — The bear is peeking over the bottom, holding a branch from Thankful Forest Friends, and “Happy Thanksgiving” is from Teeny Tiny Wishes. I lined it up with my trusty Stamp-a-ma-jig for almost-perfect placement!
To see the products I used to create this card, scroll down below the Blog Hop line-up. If you click on the pictures it will take you to my online store and you can read more about the products there. If you wish to purchase anything, I would appreciate your orders! If you have questions or comments, I would love to hear from you.

Karen – I was in love with the card (the bear gets me every time), but the envelope won me over. Love the leaves in his paw. Such a wonderful project.
