We have a sketch challenge at Create With Stamping Friends this week! I’ve chosen Take To The Sky (FOR CSF 857) for my card. It’s been a long while since I’ve pulled this pack of paper out. I decided it was time to give it a little attention before it retires 😉.
Here’s our sketch:
Here’s my card:
Not only has it been a while since I’ve used this paper, it’s been quite a while since I’ve made a card with a masculine “edge” to it! So here’s what I decided to use:
- Misty Moonlight Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
- Basic White Cardstock, textured with a Basics 3D Embossing Folder, 5-1/4″x 4″
- Misty Moonlight, cropped with Deckled Rectangle Dies, about 4″x 2-1/2″
- Take To The Sky DSP, clouds, about 3-1/2″x 2-1/4″
- TTTS DSP, gray check, 5″x 1-3/4″, angled and cut to fit the white layer
- Misty Moonlight, cropped with Deckled Circles Dies, 2-7/8″
- TTTS DSP, planes, cropped with Stylish Shapes Dies, 2-1/2″
- Basic White Cardstock, cropped with Deckled Circle Dies, about 1-1/2″
- Stamp birthday greeting from Translucent Florals Stamp Set in Misty Moonlight.
- Adhere with Dimensionals.
- Adhesive-Backed Texture Dots, 3, for embellishment

Love this. Great use of the paper. I need to learn to play with sketch options.
