Tag Time!

Time to wrap those gifts!  And what better finishing touch than a homemade tag?!  Merry Tags Framelits and Merriest Wishes Stamp Set make it so easy to make professional quality tags.  Make them in the color scheme of your wrapping paper ~ perfect!
I actually wrapped a few of my smaller gifts in our This Christmas Designer Series Paper.  It is the perfect weight for wrapping.  Since the colors in the paper are Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, and Very Vanilla, those are the colors I pulled to make my tags.  Plus a bit of bling with Foil and Glimmer Paper of course!
Another way to use Merry Tags is to glue the tag to a 2 1/2″ square card.  Take a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock cut at 5″ x 2 1/2″, fold in half, cover with a 2 1/2″ square of DSP, and punch a hole in the corner. This gives you room to write a little message to the recipient inside the tag.
Of course, you can use these tags to create beautiful cards as well.  Here are two that I received at the Atlanta WCMD card swap ~
Perhaps you want to give a set as a gift.  You’ll need a box to put them in.  I made one out of Cherry Cobbler cardstock and decorated the slide-off ribbon with yet another tag!
I created a little divider inside the box.  I was able to fit 10 tags into it easily.  Without the tie strings attached, several more would fit into the box.
Do you like these?  I have good news for you ~ they are on sale right now!  Merriest Wishes Clear Mount Stamp Set is on sale for $17, and Merry Tags Framelits are marked down from $25 to $12.50!! This is the perfect time to get a great deal.  And if your tags are already made for this year, you can have these ready for next year.  Woohoo!
And Merriest Wishes to you and yours for a blessed Holiday Season!
