Sympathy Card

Occasionally,  we have to send out sympathy cards, and sadly I needed one to send out this week.
The original design for this card was from Julie Davison.  I changed it up slightly to open as a regular A2 card, allowing me more room for a note inside.  The color palette is Cherry Cobbler, Sahara Sand, and Early Espresso.
I love this branch/bird stamp from Serene Silhouettes:

The two-part sentiment is from Petite Pairs. I also used the branch stamp on the inside with Sahara Sand ink, stamped off once for a very light look.

I used a piece of Sahara Sand DSP from the retired Something Borrowed to cover the back flap of the envelope.

Did you visit our Pals Blog Hop yesterday?  If you missed it, be sure to go back and scroll through.  There were some great project and card ideas with Thanksgiving and Thank you themes.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day!
