Super Simple Sunday Card

I’m going to make you smile when you see this super simple Sunday card! It comes together quickly but it’s a beauty, thanks to this new DSP by Stampin’ Up! called Garden Poetry. It will be available to purchase on March 3 (sooner, if you want it…see how, below).

Do you love these colors? I am crazy about this new paper! Here’s a look at all the dazzling jewel tones on this DSP:

This card uses the one on the top left.

Here’s the recipe:
  • Blackberry Bliss Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, scored and folded at 4-1/4
  • Blackberry Bliss Cardstock layer, 5-1/4″x 4″
    • Glue to the card base.
  • Garden Poetry DSP, 4″x 3-1/4″
    • Cut this piece into 2 pieces, 3″x 3-1/4″ tall, and 1″x 3-1/4″ tall. Flip the 1″ piece over and glue the two pieces side by side to the Blackberry layer, leaving 1/2″ border on the top, bottom, and left sides.
  • Berry Burst Cardstock, 4-1/2″x 3-1/2″
    • Crop the leafy sprig from Nature’s Symphony Dies and glue it down with just a few drops of liquid glue behind some of the lower leaves.
  • Basic White Cardstock, 3-1/4″x 1″ and 5-1/4″x 4″ for the inside
    • Stamp a sentiment with Blackberry Bliss ink. I used one from Sweet Blooms on this card.
    • Attach with Dimensionals.
  • Purple Fine Shimmer Gems
