Here is another very easy card to make! All you need is the Designer Series Paper Stack called Serene Scenery. If you missed my Super Simple Saturday card using this stack, you can see it HERE.
I’ve added a butterfly, a greeting, some gold thread and rhinestones, and it’s done ~ couldn’t be easier! And it’s so pretty!
I layered the DSP onto a piece of Blushing Bride, then attached it to my base card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. My base card is Mossy Meadow – yes, sadly a retired in-color, but it also looks beautiful with Old Olive if you don’t have any Mossy Meadow left.
I cropped the butterfly out of a piece of the Blushing Bride print from the Playful Palette DSP Stack, then cropped one from Vellum and attached them with a Glue Dot.
The greeting is from Birthday Blossoms. On the inside, I stamped leaves from Birthday Blossoms and Old Olive ink.
Habit Tip: Search through the catalog for just the right sentiment for your card when you don’t have a specific stamp set in mind. I wasn’t sure which birthday sentiment I wanted on this card, so I turned to the birthday section in our Annual Catalog and found the perfect choice without looking through all my sets. It saved me a bunch of time!
I hope you’ve enjoyed my Super Simple weekend cards! I am heading to Minnesota this week for a family wedding (Hi, Minnesota Stampers!) so will be taking a break from posting for the week. I will be back next week with some ideas from the new Holiday Catalog! You will be able to start ordering from it this week, on Sept. 1st.
Don’t forget!!! Use those $5 credits you earned last month. They are good through Wednesday, Aug. 31st. Also, if you haven’t ordered Thoughtful Branches yet, it is only available through Aug. 31, so don’t miss either of those deadlines.
