Sunflower Thank You

We had such a good time up at Donner Lake this week! I made a sunflower thank you card for the couple that invited us to join them for a brief vacation.

They took their kayaks and stand-up paddleboards. We all took our golf clubs. We played on the lake, golfed, played games, BBQed dinner, and enjoyed the beautiful clear skies and wonderful weather. My friend took a tablecloth for us to eat dinner on and it had sunflowers all over it. The “light bulb” clicked on and I came home and made this card to send them!

  2. Super cute card and I am so glad that you had a great tome away! Loved hearing that the skies were beautiful and you were able to take in the fresh air!

    • Thanks, Susan! It was fun. Our air in the valley is very smoky again so I’m staying indoors. Can’t wait to see some rain! I hope to see you on the call tomorrow!

    • Susan – I hope you will email me (loudavis2019) and let me know how much I owe you for those wonderful cards that arrived earlier this week. Thank you sweet friend. Lou

  3. Are there instructions on how to make that beautiful Sunflower Thank you card

    • Thanks Karen, I inked the large sunflower with Bumblebee, then dabbed Early Espresso into the centers with a Sponge Dauber. I stamped that three times. I made a mask for one sunflower and used it to stamp the leaves around the flowers. I hope that helps!
