Sun Prints with Wildlife Wonder

Happy Saturday! I have a simple Saturday card for you today ~ my favorite kind of card to make! It is quick and easy with a punch for the sentiment label, beautiful DSP, and contrasting layers. I’m using Sun Prints with Wildlife Wonder for the sentiment. Here it is ~

wildlife wonder, sun prints dsp, label me lovely punch, thank you card idea, stampin up, karen hallam

Gray Granite is a color I’ve been reaching for more and more lately. Isn’t it funny how we go through color moods? This print from Sun Prints DSP is one of my favorites. I’ve layered it with Basic White, Early Espresso, and glued it to a base of Gray Granite.

Wildlife Wonder

The sentiment is from Wildlife Wonder. I have to say how much I love this font! I stamped “A note of thanks” with Early Espresso and the wildflower stamp with Gray Granite. Then I punched it out with the Label Me Lovely Punch.

Baker’s Twine

I found this Early Espresso Baker’s Twine in an old Paper Pumpkin Kit. If you don’t have some, you could color white Baker’s Twine with a dark brown Blends Marker. To do that, I lay my twine down on a paper towel and run the side of the brush tip along the twine until all sides are colored. It’s pretty easy!
