Summer Garden (for CSF 869)

It’s Thursday, and another challenge for Create with Stamping Friends! This week is a sketch challenge. I took a little liberty and turned things around a little. You’ll see why in a minute! I know it’s not technically summer yet, but our summer garden is taking shape in our backyard and I wanted to express that in today’s card.

Here’s the sketch:

And here’s my summer garden card:

I really wanted to use the watering can, but with the squares angled the way in the sketch, I would either be watering the left side of the card or the bottom. I flipped it so the water can flow over the veggies! And the sun is shining on the garden. Of course!

Love the fresh design. The water can is colored beautifully and needed to be on top to be watering. Of course you needed the bright sun to grow all those yummy veggies on the DSP.
