Stitched Leaves

It’s Friday once again! And Friday means Festive Friday Challenge! Today I’ve made a card using Stitched Leaves Dies that goes with their theme of “First Day of Fall.”

The challenge is to incorporate at least three of the following elements into a card or project.

I’ve picked leaves, plaid, stitching, and gold for my fall-themed card.

The stitching and leaves were easy with Stitched Leaves Dies. One roll through the die-cutting machine and you’ve got both as quick as that!

I love these dies! They can be found on page 49 of the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog and sell for $35.00. You can see the stitching best in the Gold Foil leaf that I cropped.

To color the other two leaves, I sponged So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, and Mango Melody onto Whisper White Thick Cardstock and cut the leaves from that.

My bow is from retired Merry Merlot Ribbon. I’m sorry it isn’t in the catalog anymore as it is a favorite of mine.

On the inside, I put two more leaves cut from the matching Plaid Tidings DSP and the sponged Whisper White.
