St. Patrick’s Day 🍀 Treat Box

I needed to make a 3D project for an upcoming stamping event. Well, I knew enough to go to the best 3D maker in the Western Hemisphere! Julie DiMatteo, aka Paper Pixie, has a video for this adorable “rocking” Sweet Jar Treat Box on her You Tube channel! She made hers with a Valentine theme. Since the event I’ll be going to happens in early March, I transformed it into a St. Patrick’s Day Treat Box. It’s so cute…

I used the Sweet Jar Bundle for the stamping with Shaded Spruce ink for the shamrocks, jar lid, and the sentiment on the back. The jar itself is Basic Gray. Granny Apple Green is the lighter green shade on both the front and back. The punch in the bundle perfectly punches out the jar and the lid. Florals in Bloom DSP has the same greens with a couple more to tie it all together.

This sentiment is a two-step stamp, so you can use different colors without masking! Here’s a view of this cute stamp and punch bundle, Sweet Jar.

This next view is the bottom.

I have it laying on its back. You can see the slide curve of the bottom of the jar. The box gently rocks when you push it. The gold cording on the lid is from some retired gold twine. The embellishments are Iridescent Foil Gems. They give that little pot-of-gold look for St. Patty’s Day.

And here’s the box opened with the lid off. I’ll be looking for some green Hershey Kisses to fill the box, which measures roughly 1-1/2″x 1-1/4″x 1-1/4.” To get a better look at the box construction and how it opens and closes, check out Julie’s video (link below.)
