Details:
  • Balmy Blue Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, scored and folded at 4-1/4″
  • Basic White layer, 5″x 3-3/4″, 1/4″x 2-1/2″ for sentiment strip, and 5-1/4″x 4″ for inside
  • Subtles 6″x 6″ DSP, Balmy Blue, (top) 3-5/8″x 2-3/4″, (bottom) 3-5/8″x 2-1/4″
  • Splendid Day Specialty Paper for ornaments, Fresh Freesia foil front and back
  • Silver Foil Sheet for ornament outline dies and 1/8″ strip across the center
  • Fresh Freesia Open-Weave Ribbon bows
  • Rhinestone Basic Jewels
Putting It Together:
  • Glue the Balmy Blue DSP to the Basic White layer and cover the “seam” with the 1/8″ silver foil strip.
  • Cut the smaller of the two ornaments from Silver Foil and Splendid Day (Fresh Freesia non-foil side) and glue to the card front.
  • Next cut the larger ornament from Silver Foil and Splendid Day (Fresh Freesia foil side) and adhere to the card front with Dimentionals.
  • Tip: Use Scotch Tape on the back of these ornaments to hold the frame and middle together and to hold the small fastener piece at the top in place.
  • Add the ribbon bows.
  • Stamp “Merry Christmas” from Framed & Festive with Versamark ink onto Basic White Cardstock and heat set it using Silver Embossing Powder. Cut to size. Adhere with Mini Dimensionals.
  • Add the Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
  • Using an Adhesive Foam Sheet cut to 3″x 4-1/2″, adhere the white layer to the blue card base.
  • Stamp inside piece as desired and glue in place.
