Yes, I know Halloween is still a few months away! But I got these cute new products and couldn’t wait to jump in and try them out! This first card is very simple. The designer series paper does it all, really. Love the cat sitting in the window with the flat-eared expression = “Don’t mess with me!” This spooky sweet Halloween card was made with Spooky Sweet DSP and the Fright Night Bundle:

Simple Recipe:
- Pumpkin Pie Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
- Basic Black Cardstock layer, 5-1/4″x 4″
- Spooky Sweet DSP, 5″x 3-3/4″
- “EEK” and “BOO”, Basic Black Cardstock, 3 each cropped from dies and glued together in a stacked fashion then adhered with Black Dimensionals that were cut to fit

On the inside I stamped the large stamp from Fright Night in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Basic White Cardstock, 5-1/4″x 4″. I added three In Color Flat Pearls in Timid Tiger.
Here’s a picture of the whole Bundle ~

And the DSP ~
The images one the top left sheet are punchouts! I’ll have another card using some of those to show you at a later date.
Honestly, I don’t make a lot of Halloween cards. I send them to my grandsons, but that’s about all. I was holding out with old Halloween products for years and thought it was time to bring in something new. These are very cute. I like the colors, and the images are sweet. Gotta love a hippo dressed like a mummy. I used to teach kindergarten. I could tell you lots of costume stories… Maybe another day!!
Reminder!
Today through Friday, you get free shipping with a purchase of $75 or more. Take the time to look through the bundles, the Last Chance (aka Clearance Rack) List, and your paper stock. Cute. Just when I wasn’t going to buy any DSP for Halloween, I spied a pig in costume and can’t resist the mummy hippo. So, I plan on getting that pack. I make treat holders for people at the pharmacy, grocery store, mail people etc. so, maybe the treat holder kit too. Then the seniors at the nursing home would like cards and that is like 90 cards. So, I am justifying the purchase since there is free shipping this week. Now, I have ideas using this sheet. It has a lot going but the words are so fun. I smiled at the cat in the window.
When I was teaching and hosting Girl Scout troops, I made tons of Hallpween cards and treat packages, but like you, these days I only send cards to my grandkids and a couple of great nieces. I, too, felt I could get by with my (excessive) stock on hand, but I think you’ve convinced me that I “need” these products! If nothing more, I’ll use them for the October page of the 5×7 calendars that I make to sell at my church’s harvest festival. (I can justify ANYTHING!)
Thanks for the inspiration/rationalization!
😊 You’re welcome, Linda! Happy to help! 🤣
