Softly Said

Here’s another Last Chance Product that I have not used nearly enough. It’s a sentiment only set, one I’m likely to use long after it’s gone from the Stampin’ Up! store. It’s called Softly Said, and is one of those etched stamps that give the light and dark watercolor look that I love.

I made a “You Are Loved” card, as I’ve got Valentine’s Day on my mind this month. Here it is:

Recipe:

• Night of Navy Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″ for a top-fold
• Basic White Cardstock, 5-1/8″x 3-7/8″
  • Plan ahead and crop the sentiment piece out of this white layer, using the Nested Essentials Dies, second to largest.
• Regal Winter DSP (also on the Last Chance list, marked down to $11.25), 5″x 3-3/4″
• Embellishments
  • Blackberry Bliss & Gold 1/2″ Textured Ribbon, (another Last Chance, marked down to $9.00), 4″
  • Memorable Blooms Bundle, colored with Blends in Blackberry Bliss and Boho Blue
  • Wink of Stella
  • Adhesive Backed Sparkle Gems
