I’ve used three different patterns on this card. Two Petal Pink/white florals and a third print that has black in it for the butterfly. These prints are soft pastels – so lovely!
I cut the two triangles using the Stitched Triangle Dies and adhered them to a panel of Basic White Cardstock. Then I heat embossed “hello” from Biggest Wish to the center strip. With Layering Circles Dies, I cut one large one from Black Cardstock and a smaller one from Silver Foil. Using a 3/4″ Circle Punch, I punched one more black circle and attached the butterfly with a few drops of liquid glue on its body.
Here’s a close up of the butterfly. I cropped it out using Brilliant Wings Dies. Once I glued the body down I fluffed up the wings a bit to give it dimension.
The last touch is 3 Matte Black Dots. I love the contrast between this Petal Pink and Basic Black.
