Sneak Peek: Incredible Like You

I opened up a new stamp set that I received at On Stage in November and starting playing with it…  It is a really fun set! It will be available to purchase from the 2019 Occasions Catalog on January 3rd.

It has lots of small elements that work together to make flowers and leaves – all just a little bit artsy-looking. And what a fun font in these sentiments!

I started with stamping the lines image, Granny Apple Green, stamping-off once and offsetting the stamp as I traveled down the paper. When I finished that, I glued it to a base card of Granny Apple Green.

Next I cut a rectangle of Granny Apple Green, using a new Stitched Rectangle Die (coming January 3). This one was 2-3/4″ x 4″. I glued it directly to the lined layer.

The top layer is Whisper White, measuring 2-1/4″ x 3-1/2″, also a Stitched Rectangle, and it is glued directly to a slightly larger piece of Highland Heather. Those two layers are popped up with Dimensionals and adhered to the stitched green layer.

The colors I used to stamp the flower and leaf images are Granny Apple Green, Highland Heather, and Pineapple Punch. My sentiment is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black. A tiny drop of Diamonds Stickles (non-SU) gives the flowers the faintest hint of sparkle!

I turned this card into a birthday card, but it would also be great for a congratulations card or a thinking of you/encouragement card. Be sure to watch for it in the new catalog, coming January 3. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go play with it some more and see what else I come up with…!
