Small and Sweet

This card looks large in the photo, but actually it is only 3″ x 3″ – a small and sweet little valentine to share!

You may not recognize the heart doily…yes, it is in the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog.  I turned it over to use the white back.  The opposite side is gold foil from the Love Blossoms Embellishments Kit!

I used Watermelon Wonder for the card base and solid heart (cropped out using the heart from the Mini Treat Bags Thinlits Dies), a layer of Designer Series Paper from Birthday Bouquet, and a Blushing Bride print from Love Blossoms DSP Stack punched out with the Sweetheart Punch.

The tiny button is a Calypso Coral button and I tied a double bow with Blushing Bride Baker’s Twine (on sale right now).

The doily is popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Inside ~ I glued a single row of Watermelon Wonder hearts at the bottom, mimicking the print on the front.  I punched them out with the Hearts Border Punch.  And guess what?!!!  This punch on sale this week at a 25% discount!  See it HERE.  This is a must-have punch.

That’s it.  Simple, easy, sweet – very valentine-y.  Someone’s going to [heart] it!

Have a wonderful weekend ~

Karen
