Happy Thursday! We have a color challenge this week at Create with Stamping Friends! I’ve thrown together quite a few products for this card, but the title comes from the sentiment stamp set called Simply Said (for CSF 868.)
Here’s a look at the challenge:
And here’s my card:
Darling Duckling is one of our new In Colors for 2025-27, a bright yellow that has some green undertones. I think it works well for butterflies!
Here’s my recipe:
- Misty Moonlight Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
- Basic White layer, 5″x 3-3/4″
- Fresh Freesia print from the new Floral Impressions DSP, cropped with Deckled Rectangle Dies
- Hexagons ~ Meant to Bee Dies, Basic White and Fresh Freesia Cardstocks, with the top one stamped with Fresh Freesia ink and a Thankful Garden stamp
- Butterflies ~ cropped from the Beautiful Butterfies Bundle, Darling Duckling and Misty Moonlight Cardstocks
- Sentiment ~ from Simply Said, Misty Moonlight ink on Basic White, 1-7/8″x 3/4″
- Ribbon ~ Silver & White Sheer Ribbon tied around the white & DSP layer with a bow on the left side
- Misty Moonlight Ombre Matte Decorative Dots (Last Chance, marked down to $6.80)
I popped the hexagons up on Dimensionals and zhuzhed up the butterfly wings for extra dimension!
Now click HERE to see the cards that the rest of our team made with these three colors. Enjoy!
