Simply Elegant Gold Wreath

Here is a sneak peek at a new stamp set that will be for sale on September 1st from the new Holiday Catalog.  It’s called Peaceful Wreath, and the images are beautiful!  I’m going to try several variations with this set, and I’ve started with a simple gold embossing.  The gold and white are so pretty together.
The Whisper White base is 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″.  I put a layer of gold foil on top of the base.  You can’t see it, but I trimmed it out so there is just a “frame” of the foil on the card and a nice piece cut out of the middle to use on another card.
The photopolymer stamps make it so easy to place them where you want them.  I put all three stamps on a large acrylic block and inked them up at the same time with Versamark, stamped onto white, then sprinkled the whole thing with gold embossing powder.  This next photo gives you a better idea of the beautiful embossing…

So pretty!

I tacked a gold ribbon on the wreath with a glue dot.  When I looked at the finished card, I thought it needed just a touch more, so I added the gold sparkle stars to it.

I’ll be playing with this one for some more postings, so please come back and see how many different looks you can get with one stamp set!  There is also a gorgeous bough in this set that I can’t wait to try.

See you next time!
