My favorite Christmas stamp set this year might be Shepherd’s Care. I love the sketched look of the images and the sentiments are beautiful. Here’s my first card that I made with this set (it won’t be the last!):
Here’s a look at the whole set:
It’s a very simple card, but I love that about it!
The Recipe:
- Basic Black Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
- Smoky Slate Cardstock layer, 5-1/4″x 4″
- Basic Black, 4-7/8″x 3-5/8″
- Basic White, 4-5/8″x 3-3/8″
Stamping:
- Stamp the shepherd image in the lower left corner using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
- Stamp a sentiment to the right of the shepherd. I used one from Itty Bitty Christmas (retired).
- Stamp the star in the upper right corner with Versamark ink, then heat emboss it with gold embossing powder.
Add some texture:
Run the stamped white panel through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with an embossing folder of your choice. I used (retired) Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.

Have a great week! We are close to Thanksgiving ~ hoping your plans are coming together nicely.
