Several Cards to Share With You

I had the opportunity to attend a stamping event held by a fellow demonstrator, Janice Urke, last week. I had so much fun making cards that were designed, prepped, and organized by her! It was a real treat! I want to show you some of the cards we made.

I have to confess that I haven’t had time to stamp since the event! Our grandson flew down from WA State to visit, and now we are in the middle of Vacation Bible School. I was up to my elbows in the 5th & 6th grade craft today – we made SLIME! OK, I admit, it was pretty fun. I’d never made slime before and it’s a experience!!! Anyway, next week should be back to a normal schedule and I hope to get some card making in!

The first card I want to show you uses the Sea of Textures Bundle. I love this octopus and the framelit that cuts him out is amazing – a really close crop with all the curly tentacle details. Of course you could just buy the stamp set, but why would you want to when you can get the fun thinlits and save 10% on the bundle. Just do it!

The second card uses a stamp set that I’ve shown before, Waterfront. See my previous card HERE. We put it together with some retired DSP and ribbon and created this handsome card ~

The next card uses a new stamp set called Serene Garden. The sentiment is found in Love What You Do.

Next we used Accented Blooms. The blooms were colored with Stampin’ Blends and the cardstock and DSP are Grapefruit Grove. News flash as of yesterday! The new Stampin’ Blends colors are now available to order! Click HERE to see all the exciting new colors.

I made two of these adorable rhino cards for my two youngest grandsons. The stamp set is Animal Outing, and it’s part of the Animal Expedition Suite. See it all on page 26-27 of the 2018-19 Annual Catalog.

My last card is made with all retired products, and I don’t know if it’s fair to show you a card with products that are no longer available. BUT it’s a cute layout and idea, and perhaps you can use the design with other things that you have. The “Friend” was only inked up once, and using the Stamparatus, we hinge-stepped the sentiment five times without re-inking for an ombre effect. It’s a cool technique that is fun to do.

That’s my Friday post for you. I hope you enjoyed seeing the cards as much as I enjoyed making them! I will be back next week ~ July already! Have a wonderful weekend, and get into the stamping habit!

If you would like to place an order through me, thank you! I have a Host Code for June – P4C3AZWW – if you are ordering less than $150. Over that amount, YOU become the host and get to enjoy the Stampin’ Rewards.
