I let my imagination go with this sketch for the Pals Paper Arts Challenge this week! ~ Can you see it?
I haven’t had this stamp set very long and was eager to use it. I love the little fish and underwater images and the way it all pairs up with the By the Shore DSP. Takes me back to my high school days in Hawaii with LOTS of time spent on the beach and in the ocean!
My color scheme: Basic Gray, Dapper Denim, Mint Macaron, and Calypso Coral.
I stamped the fish, anchor, and seaweed onto Very Vanilla and fussy cut them out, which was very easy to do. I punched a hole in the anchor top and tied a length of Very Vanilla thick Baker’s Twine to it. I secured the other end between the DSP and Dapper Denim layers with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and used Dimensionals to lift up all but one fish.
Inside, I stamped the fun sentiment that comes with the set and added a bit of seaweed and starfish.
The finished card is 5″ square. I used Dapper Denim Envelope Paper and the Envelope Punch Board to make an envelope to fit.
