Sale-a-bration (for Pals January Blog Hop)

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop in 2022! This month, the theme is Sale-A-Bration. We really hope that you enjoy and will be inspired by them! As you hop from blog to blog, don’t forget to leave comments because we love hearing from you. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

There are many cute selections in our 2022 January-February Sale-a-bration brochure. I selected Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper for my card today. It is a fun, bright, and cheerful pack of 6″x 6″ pack of paper. You get 48 sheets, 4 each of 12 double-sided designs. And best of all, it’s FREE with a qualifying purchase of $50.

  • Layering Circles Dies, the plain circle cutting through both the cardstock base and the DSP
  • A frame of Bumblebee Cardstock cut with Layering Circles Dies glued around the cut hole

Tip: Lightly draw around the circle opening through to the white cardstock inside with a pencil to guide your sentiment placement. After stamping, erase the pencil line with a good art eraser, like Pentel’s Hi-Polymer Eraser. No one will ever know it was there!

I added the leftover bit of DSP to the bottom of the inside panel.

I’ll be sending this card to my 95 year-old friend, Carolyn, who is once again in lockdown at her residential care facility, due to Covid. I’m so sad that she is “house-bound” and I’m hoping this card will bring her a little sunny blessing.

More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on February 9th. Our theme will be Birthday Bash when our team creates birthday projects to celebrate our family and friends.

Until then, have fun in your craft space.
