Sailing Home with Waves of the Ocean

I haven’t seen anyone else pair these two together yet, but I think Sailing Home with Waves of the Ocean DSP are a perfect combo!

sailing home, waves of the ocean dsp, stitched rectangle dies, card of encouragement, stampin up, karen hallam

Details:
  • Night of Navy Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, scored and folded at 4-1/4″, 2-1/4″x 1-3/4″ for label from Smooth Sailing Dies
  • Basic White Cardstock, (2 for layering) 3-7/8″x 2-1/2″, and (1) Stitched Rectangle Dies, approx 3-1/2″x 2-1/4″
  • Waves of the Ocean DSP, (2) 3-3/4″x 2-3/8″
  • Lighthouse stamped with Night of Navy ink, light rays with Daffodil Delight Blends markers, sentiment from Sailing Home with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder
  • Wink of Stella on light rays
Tips:
  • Cut the DSP in one large piece first, 4-3/4″x 3-3/4″, then cut it in half to have two consecutive pieces with the pattern flowing from one to the other.
  • Glue the right side of the sentiment label to the stitched white rectangle, then put Dimensionals on the back to lift it up off the DSP.

I love that pop of yellow against the dark, bright blue! The sparkle from Wink of Stella makes it stand out even more.

I hope you have a good weekend! I won’t be posting my Simple Saturday tomorrow, as I’ve run short on time. Hopefully I can get that up again next week. Thanks for all your comments. I do love to hear your take on my cards! 🙂
