Today is the day that Stampin’ Up! is going to publish their 2017 Retiring List, which means you will get to find out which stamp sets, etc., are going away on May 31. I want to caution you to grab while you can. I mean, especially all things with the retiring In Colors will fly off the shelf. Don’t be left regretting that you didn’t order sooner….just sayin’!
Equally exciting, you will get to see which ones are carrying over to the next catalog. the Retiring Product List is now out and it is broken down into three catagories. I will link it here for you here:
Meanwhile, I do have a card to share with you today! It is one that I made using a sketch layout from Craft Project Central’s monthly Creating Pretty Cards. It is sketch #70. Here is my card ~
And here is Julie’s sketch that inspired me ~
CPC#70

To make my card, I started with a base of Sweet Sugarplum and added a 5-1/4″ x 4″ piece of Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper.
Next I added another layer of Sweet Sugarplum that measures 4-3/4″ x 2-1/4″ toward the top of the card. On top of that I glued a panel of the checked pattern from the same DSP. It measures 4-1/2″ x 2″.
At the bottom, I added a Whisper White piece that measures 1″ x 4-3/4″, wrapped with a length of Old Olive Baker’s Twine and bow tied in the middle.
The basket in Tip Top Taupe is cropped using the Basket Builder Framelits Dies. I backed it with a scrap of Old Olive cardstock.
Then for the fun part – I used the Oh So Succulent Bundle to stamp and cut several succulent images and arranged them in the basket.
The sentiment and scattered enamel shapes are Old Olive. The envelope flap is covered with Sweet Sugarplum from the In Color DSP Stack with a 1/4″ strip of Tip Top Taupe to match the front of the card.
I love this succulent set. I am so hoping that it is carried over and NOT on the retiring list!
Thanks for looking! If you want to order any of the supplies that I have used on this card, you can simply click on the pictures below in the Product List. I have listed the Succulent Bundle first, then added the stamp set and framelits separately to give you choices, but you will save 10% if you buy them in the bundle. By clicking on the pictures, it will connect you to my store. If you do not have a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator yet, I would love to be yours! Please let me know how I can help you with any of your stamping questions or needs.
My Pals Group will be hopping on Wednesday! That means that several of us will be blogging about our creations using a common theme (this month it is “Families First.”) We will all be connected on each other’s blogs and you can scroll from one to another. It’s a fun and wonderful “show” of talent that you will want to see and get inspired by. So come back on Wednesday and check it all out!
Until then, I hope you have a great start to your week!
