Remarkable You with a Sneak Peek

I have to admit, I was late to the party getting this amazing stamp set called Remarkable You. And now that I’ve purchased it, it’s on the retiring list! Wouldn’t you know? But I will keep using it for a long while. I love the big bold flower stamps. Here is another card I made with it, using the Calla Lily stamp. These stamps are large, in fact the set needs two cases to hold them all. You can still get it before it’s gone, either May 31st or until it is sold out.

I am so in love with the blues that Stampin’ Up has in its new color collections. This base card is Pool Party, but the DSP in the center is from a new set called Tranquil Textures. The name describes it well – all textural prints in soothing greens and blues. I think it is gorgeous and you’ll be seeing me use it a lot!

I cut the DSP at 4-5/8″ x 3-3/8″ and layered it with black. The white panel is 2-1/2″ x 3-3/4″, also layered with black.

I stamped the flower image twice – once on the white panel and a second time on a scrap. I colored both with the light Pool Party Stampin’ Blend, and added some dark Pool Party on the scrap piece. I cut that one close to the black line, cutting all but the stem, then popped it on over the bottom one with Mini Dimensionals. I also added Wink of Stella to the bottom portion of the bloom.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black, and added the leaves stamp, also with Tuxedo Black but stamped off twice before adding it to the card.
