Rain or Shine (CCMC762)

This week at Create With Connie & Mary we have a color challenge! The combination of Flirty Flamingo, Mango Melody, and Old Olive brought one specific pack of DSP to my mind, and that is ~ Rain or Shine!

This jaunty little fox with his pink umbrella and yellow slicker is just too cute!

I selected the two-part sentiment from Color & Contour…I think this message of encouragement could be shared with lots of people who are going through a rough patch. There is rain on the card front, but on the inside the sun is shining again!

  • Old Olive Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
  • Mango Melody layer, 5″x 3-3/4″
  • Flirty Flamingo layer, 4-7/8″x 3-5/8″
  • Rain or Shine Specialty DSP, umbrella pattern, 4-3/4″x 3-1/2″
  • Fox with umbrella and a puddle fussy-cut from Rain or Shine DSP
  • “Here for you now” from Color & Contour stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Basic White and cut to 3″x 3/4″, ends angle-cut
(inside)
  • Mango Melody Cardstock, 5″x 3-3/4″
  • Basic White, 4-7/8″x 3-5/8″
  • “And in better days ahead” from Color & Contour stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black
  • Flower from Color & Contour stamped with Mango Melody then sponged Flirty Flamingo directly on the stamp in the center
