Good Monday to you! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
I wanted a note card-sized card to send to my friend, but since she is a purple person, I knew it had to be something in the purple family. Since our Note Cards and Envelopes (so handy and great price) only come in Whisper White and Crumb Cake, I knew I had to make my own. Easy enough!
I cut a piece of Rich Razzleberry Cardstock to 5″ x 7″ and scored it at 3-1/2″. Then I layered it with Whisper White to make the Razzleberry Paisley paper pop. I cut each layer 1/8″ smaller than the last.
A 1/2″ strip of coordinating paper from Petals & Paisleys looks kind of like ribbon! The oval Stitched Shapes Framelit nicely fits around the sentiment from Thoughts & Prayers.
Then the focal point ~ a Silver Foil dragonfly from Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies. Pretty! I love everything cut with foil!
Done.
But then there is the matter of an envelope. I could have put it in a pre-made note card-sized envie, but it was so easy to make my own with the Envelope Punch Board and a sheet of Very Vanilla Paper.
