It’s In Good Taste

It looks like I painted this background myself, doesn’t it? If you haven’t seen this awesome Designer Series Paper yet, you need to take a look! This particular print looks like a white and Rococo Rose oil painting. All of the prints have the home remodeling materials look. There is also tile, carpet, hardwood, and upholstery. It’s really unexpected and has lots of fun texture. Click HERE to see another card I made with some of this paper last week.

Simple Construction

Begin with an 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″ Rococo Rose card base, scored and folded at 4-1/4″. After that, cut the Rococo Rose DSP to 5-1/4″x 4″, then glue it to the base.

To the top of that add a trio of Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I used Rococo Rose Cardstock, another pink print from the DSP, Silver Foil, and Whisper White. After I cut the foil in half, I spread it out behind the white label. Then I stamped it with a Peaceful Moments birthday stamp in Rococo Rose.

I tied a bow with the 1/4″ Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon, which added a soft touch to this pink and pretty card.

And now you are…

Done! That’s it! You could make a bunch of these in no time and have a card on hand for several of your friends. Try using different papers and tailor the card to fit the personality of the person you’re sending it to.

Oh so fun! I was slow to use Rocco Rose but I am really enjoying it the last month. You are right it looks like a painting or some wall technique. So fun with the touch of silver.
