Do you love Accented Blooms, but don’t want to do all the coloring? Here’s a pretty idea that requires NO coloring, yet it’s quite stunning nevertheless…
I stamped the image with Versamark Ink on a panel of Crumb Cake, then sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and used my Heat Tool to puff it up and make it shine.
I also stamped the birthday wishes from Balloon Celebration with Versamark and heat set white powder onto a piece of Gorgeous Grape cardstock. I l-o-v-e this new purple! A quick punch with the Taylored Tag Punch, some Multipurpose Liquid Glue, 3 little dew drop epoxy shapes (retired) and your front is done! Wasn’t that easy? And fast!
Adhere the card front to a slightly larger piece of Whisper White. That tiny border around the Crumb Cake really makes the stamped image pop! Then glue it all to a base card of Gorgeous Grape cardstock.
Don’t forget to pretty-up the envelope! I used one of the Gorgeous Grape papers in the Brights collection of the 6″ x 6″ DSP.
On the inside, I stamped this little greeting from Happy Birthday Gorgeous. The word gorgeous and the fact that the color I’m showing is Gorgeous Grape… well, it all made sense to me!
I hope you appreciate a quick and simple card! My first reaction was – too plain, too easy, no one will want to read about that! Was I right or wrong? I think we all need some quick and simple cards periodically, so I went ahead and shared. I hope you are off to a great start this week! Indulge your stamping habit, and go get those papers and stamps out!
Have a gorgeous day!
