Perhaps you’ve heard that the Stampin’ Up! Retiring List for 2019 is out. I’ll have that list posted for you down below. And perhaps you love your circle punches as much as I do…sadly some of these are on the Retiring List!
The 3/4″, the 1-1/4″, and the 1-3/4″ Circle Punches are going to be eliminated from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog. šĀ That is unfortunate in my opinion, as these are very handy tools for a quick punch and go. If you don’t already have them, I would recommend ordering yours soon, before they are sold out and gone.
All that being said, I made a card for today’s post using those three punches and also the 1/2″ Circle Punch. Here it is ~
I’ve also included a few other products that will be going away as of June 3rd. That embossing folder, Petal Pair, will be retiring, as well as the Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper and the Gingham Gala 6 x 6 DSP. I’m doing a happy dance that Beauty Abounds and the Butterfly Beauty dies will be carrying over, however they will not be bundled in the new catalog. Save 10% by ordering them together now!
Design Inspiration
Notice the Bokeh Dots arrangement on the top of the stamp set above? I patterned my circle arrangement by using that image. Often, I try to use inspiration from art that I find elsewhere!
I cut all of the little Champagne Foil butterflies from Butterfly Beauty Thinlits Dies. This set has a LOT of them, all different sizes, and multiples of the same ones. It’s a great set! I will admit that the large piece with all the attached butterflies intimidated me at first. But I found it easy to cut them apart and use parts and pieces if I don’t want to use the whole piece. Click HERE to see how I separated and used one of the butterflies on another card.
Did I go overboard on the inside? Maybe… I do love this sentiment, though, and I have a very good friend that it will be perfect for. I found that Balmy Blue can be a very strong color that didn’t really match the paper – Boo! But when I stamped it off once, the color was spot on! Yay! We have a new light blue coming in the 2019-2021 In Colors that I think will be this pure, non-greenish shade. That is something I’ve been looking for!
Last Chance!
Alright, get your punches and anything else you will miss when the new catalog launches on June 4. Here is that promised Retiring List. NOTE that many of the stamp sets on this list will be back, but re-done as Cling stamps. The Wood-mount and Clear-mount will be discontinued (with the exception of the large background stamps.)

I hope your week is going well! My daughter will be getting home this afternoon after driving from Wisconsin. Her DPT program at the University is finished and she will be visiting for a couple of weeks before heading out to her new job! I’m a proud Mama!

Fun. I still like my punches too. I need to check to make sure I have those three punches before they are gone. Sometimes it is just easier to grab, punch, and go. Love the play on patterns. The spark of foil butterflies make this card shine.
Oh Karen, Adore this card. So much texture. The envelope is extra special.
Have a blessed day. š
Thanks, Nancy!
