Yummmm, one of my favorite things about Fall are pumpkin spiced lattes! That warm spicy goodness is the taste of the new season!
I created this card with the new stamp set that’s coming out on Sept. 1st and the “older” framelits that are in the 2017-18 Annual Catalog. The stamp set is Merry Cafe and the framelits are called Coffee Cups Framelits.
The pumpkin-y Designer Series Paper is also coming on Sept.1 and it is called Painted Autumn DSP and it has beautiful fall prints that you will love!
I “sat” the pumpkins (hand cut from DSP) and cup down on a 1-1/4″ wide strip of Wood Textures DSP. The Early Espresso wreath in the back is from Swirly Scribbles Thinlits. The Old Olive leaf branch is from Eclectic Layers Thinlits.
Inside, I stamped a sentiment from Balloon Celebration and hand cut two coffee mugs from the Coffee Break DSP pack.
I used a lot of different sets of stamps and framelits for this project, but I would encourage you to use whatever you have on hand. That’s what I did – I looked through my sets and found elements in several that worked well together. I don’t want anyone to feel like they can’t make a card that they like because they don’t have the right stuff. Been there, done that! It’s frustrating! But when you think outside the box a little, you can come up with something wonderful using the products you do have! OK, I’ll step down from my soapbox now!! Lol!
Go have a great weekend! Hopefully you will have some time to get inky!
Can I share one or two more photos with you???? My daughter left today to go back to WI and school, but we snuck in one more paddleboarding trip yesterday, this time on the American River which is a short drive from here. The water was calm and clear and it was such an enjoyable day.
If you look really closely, you can see me on my board approaching the bridge middle left! Love it!
