Pretty Florals (for csf 888)

It’s our final September post of Create with Stamping Friends today! We have another color challenge. I really like this color combo! I’ve used Pretty Florals to create the focal point of my “Thinking of You” card.

Here’s the challenge:

Pretty, yes?

Here are my directions, working from the outside in:

  • Misty Moonlight Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
  • Basic White layer, 5’x 3-3/4″
  • Thoughtful Journey DSP, 4-7/8″x 3-5//8″
  • Timeless Plaid DSP, two 1-1/2″ squares, each cut on the diagonal to create four triangles
  • Basic White Cardstock, Stylish Shapes Dies, 2-5/8″ diameter
    • Adhere with Dimensionals.
  • Highland Heather Cardstock for the petals, Pretty Florals Dies
    • Brush on a bit of Gorgeous Grape to the bottom halves of the petals for dimension.
  • Granny Apple Green Cardstock for the leaves, Pretty Florals Dies
  • “Thinking of You” from Tractor & Co stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on Basic White Cardstock, 2-1/8″x 5/16″
  • Three Opal Rounds, clear/iridescent color

  1. So pretty. I like the mix of the blues with the purple. I have seen these flowers on another card by another demo and was trying to decide if they were tulips. Since this is a tulip town, I was trying to decide if I needed these dies for cards. If I do order them, you bet I will be CASEing this fun card. I forget to pay attention to the other side of the Thoughtful Journey paper, they are so pretty to use too. Thanks for the reminder to use these other sides.
