Pop-Up Bandstand Card

Jeanie Stark’s Mystery Monday Stampin’ ended up being a Pop-up Bandstand card this week. What a fun card! I think I’ve heard it called a bay window card as well. The fun part was not knowing what I was building as I followed her directions until I got it all put together! Thus the “mystery!” I used the Thankful Garden Bundle with stamps, dies, and decorative masks. For DSP, I used Lovely Garden, (This bundle and suite collection are unavailable right now but will be back the week of July 14.)

The finished card measures the usual 5-1/2″x 4-1/4″, but it pops up when you take it from the envelope and stands up nicely on your table top.

On the back, there is a good place for writing a personal note!

My card has the following materials:
  • Basic Black Cardstock
  • Lovely Garden DSP
  • Basic White Cardstock
  • Thankful Garden stamps, dies, and decorative masks
  • Blueberry Bushel, Memento Tuxedo Black, Berry Burst, and Garden Green ink pads
  • Unbounded Love Stamp Set
  • White Baker’s Twine
  • Black Neutral Matte Dots

I pulled the leftovers in to cover the flap of my envelope. It adds a special homemaid touch with a “hint” of what’s inside.

I can see a few more of these cards in my future. It will be fun to experiment with different papers.

Have a great weekend!
