We’re here with a Color Challenge at Create With Connie & Mary this week! This combination is so very Fall, I had to use Pick of the Patch with it. Truth be told, I designed this for last week’s sketch challenge, then realized that I had used the colors needed for this week – oops! So I made a new one for last week (see it here) and kept Pick of the Patch Cutie for today 🙂
I used the same measurements as last week. Made it pretty easy!
- Starry Sky Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
- Them Bones DSP, Starry Sky stripe, 5-1/4″x 4″
- Cajun Craze Cardstock, 3-1/2″x 2-1/2″, 1-1/4″x 3/4″ with the left side cut to a point
- Them Bones DSP, Pumpkin Pie argyle print, 3″x 2-3/8″
- Basic White Cardstock, 2-1/4″x 1-1/2″, scraps for stamping the pumpkin, leaf, tendril, and sentiment
I did enjoy this sketch. The tilted orientation works if you have one layer that’s straight, in this case, the Pumpkin Pie DSP layer. It feels whimsical and fun, particularly with this pumpkin stamp. The blue leaf and tendril make it even more so!
The enamel dots I used are from the 2023-25 In Color Dots. My ink colors are Starry Sky and Pumpkin Pie.
