Hey! Happy Wednesday! I’m joining the Tic, Tac, Toe Challenge this week with a fun grid for inspiration. I’ve chose Perennial Lavender to make a clean and simple card with some fun detailing. Here’s the board ~
And here’s my card ~
I went across the top with [CAS (clean and simple) /thinking of you sentiment /floral.] In fact, I’ve probably got every element from the board on this card, except for metallic!
Here’s what I used:
- Gorgeous Grape Cardstock base, 11″x 4-1/4″, folded at 5-1/2″
- Perennial Lavender DSP, 5-1/4″x 4″
- Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape for the band across the middle, 1-1/4″x 4″
- Gorgeous Grape ink, then Versamark with clear embossing powder for the sentiment
- Excellent Eggs Bundle for the sentiment and for the scalloped edging
- Purple Fine Shimmer Gems
Inside:
I used Crumb Cake for the inside panel to tie in with the background on the front. I think I still prefer white, but this will be easy to write on, and it’s just something different than my usual!
A 3/4″ strip of DSP at the bottom with a tiny Linen Thread Bow adds a little sweetness.
Be sure to jump over to the Tic, Tac, Toe Challenge to see many other entries this week.
Thanks for stopping by! Check back again tomorrow for my entry at Create With Connie & Mary!

Another beautiful card Karen!
Hmm…isn’t there a tiny bit of ‘metallic’ in the purple fine shimmer gems, Karen? Maybe you got all the elements in the challenge without realizing it!
Haha, maybe??? I know they are very shimmery, but metallic? 🙂
Love it and plan on CASEing.
Thank you, Chris!
