Peaceful Wreath, “Final Take”

I’ve been up to Washington State this past week – gorgeous country northeast of Seattle.  Right before I left, my computer crashed!  This post was in the making and it was left hanging!  While I was gone, our computer “doctor” was able to restore and fix our problem.  I came home to a working machine again, so I’m a happy camper once again.
This will be my final card using the new stamp set, Peaceful Wreath…at least for awhile!  I have been having fun trying several ways to use it. I hope you’ve enjoyed my cards as much as I’ve had making them!  Here is one more…

This time I used the color combination Always Artichoke, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, and Cherry Cobbler.  The DSP is one of the Christmas papers in Merry Moments. I combined Peaceful Wreath with Wondrous Wreath from the Annual Catalog for the sentiment and small flower, and cut the wreath out using the coordinating Framelits. Buy them as a bundle and save 15%!

The Crumb Cake piece on the front was embossed using the Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I stamped the wreath with Tip Top Taupe, then colored it in with the Always Artichoke, Pear Pizzazz, and Cherry Cobbler markers.  The bow is also from the Merry Moments DSP.  I added a Cherry Cobbler button and some Linen Thread tied in a bow.  It sits up a bit off the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Inside, I placed a strip of the Cherry DSP over Very Vanilla cardstock, then stamped the greeting from Wondrous Wreath.  I added a touch of sparkle to the center of the poinsettia.

This Peaceful Wreath stamp set will available to order on Sept. 1st — only 3 days away!  Get your order ready!  There will be a whole lotta stampin’ goin’ on next month, with lots of fun, fun holiday products to choose from.

I’ll be back soon with more to share.  Stay tuned!
