Peaceful Wreath, "Final Take"

I’ve been up to Washington State this past week – gorgeous country northeast of Seattle. Right before I left, my computer crashed! This post was in the making and it was left hanging! While I was gone, our computer “doctor” was able to restore and fix our problem. I came home to a working machine again, so I’m a happy camper once again.

This will be my final card using the new stamp set, Peaceful Wreath…at least for awhile! I have been having fun trying several ways to use it. I hope you’ve enjoyed my cards as much as I’ve had making them! Here is one more…

This time I used the color combination Always Artichoke, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, and Cherry Cobbler. The DSP is one of the Christmas papers in Merry Moments. I combined Peaceful Wreath with Wondrous Wreath from the Annual Catalog for the sentiment and small flower, and cut the wreath out using the coordinating Framelits. The Crumb Cake piece on the front was embossed using the Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I stamped the wreath with Tip Top Taupe, then colored it in with the Always Artichoke, Pear Pizzazz, and Cherry Cobbler markers. The bow is also from the Merry Moments DSP. I added a Cherry Cobbler button and some Linen Thread tied in a bow. It sits up a bit off the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Inside, I placed a strip of the Cherry DSP over Very Vanilla cardstock, then stamped the greeting from Wondrous Wreath. I added a touch of sparkle to the center of the poinsettia.
