Peaceful Place

One of the most beautiful suites in the new Mini Catalog this fall (imho) is the Peaceful Place Suite. The gray/black/white Designer Series Paper is so gorgeous with silver foiling on one side of each sheet. Take a look at this unique sheet. It comes in 6″x 6″ quadrants to be cut and used as backgrounds for your cards or scrapbook pages. So pretty!

I cut one of the quadrants down to 5-1/4″x 4″ to serve as a background for my first card. Then I stamped and die cut the cabin (check out the little smoke stamp coming from the chimney!) I made a mask of the cabin and stamped the fence.

For my sentiment, I found this older silver foil heart in my stash that I heat embossed in black. The sentiment stamps both front and inside come from the Tidings & Trimmings set from the Annual Catalog.

Two trees and the cutest little fox decorate the inside.

Subtle Shimmer Sequins will be one of the new embellishments in this catalog (all available Aug. 3). They are perfect for winter shaker cards, but I love them individually as well. They add a touch of sparkle to the card along with Wink of Stella on the snowy rooftop. The trees have the silver foiling on them. It’s hard to see in the photos, but a real wow in person!
