Pansy Patch (for CCMC722)

This week it’s a color challenge at Create With Connie & Mary, and we have the beautiful combination of Orchid Oasis, Balmy Blue, and So Saffron. I saw the purple and yellow together and thought about the pansies we used to have in our flower bed! Out came my Pansy Patch Bundle, which I was surprised to see is still offered as a bundle, at 10% discount!

I stamped the sentiment from Pansy Patch onto the DSP with Memento Tuxedo Black, then again with Versamark and heat embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder. (Tip: Since ink always seems to come out lighter when you stamp it onto DSP, I recommend using a permanent ink such as Stazon to get a deeper black. You can see that mine looks more like Basic Gray here!)

Two Matte Black Dots finish the pansies off nicely. And be sure to use Dimensionals behind the top flower for some fun dimension on the card.
