I made a birthday card using Painted Harvest in colors from the Subtles collection ~
If you’re a Demonstrator with Stampin’ Up! you might think this looks familiar! One of the benefits of being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator is a quarterly publication called Stampin’ Success, in which there are many gorgeous samples and ideas, along with business tips and testimonials. I got this idea from the most recent magazine, Quarter 3 of 2018, on page 26. I made mine vertical (the sample is horizontal) but used the same color scheme of Petal Pink and So Saffron.
It turns a traditionally fall flower into a pretty summer one! Here’s a closer look ~
I stamped the two-part sunflower with Petal Pink. The stamp does the work of making the larger stamp lighter and the smaller one darker. I wonder how they do that?!!! Then I stamped the center part of the flower with So Saffron. I brushed Wink of Stella on the yellow for a subtle sparkle, then cut it out with my Paper Snip scissors.
The leaves are Pear Pizzazz. The tri-leaf stamp has a Leaf Punch. No fussy cutting required on that!
The sentiment is from Balloon Celebration and I stamped it in Soft Suede. White Baker’s Twine and a tiny Share What You Love Artisan Pearl finish it off.
If you would enjoy getting copies of Stampin’ Success, all you need to do is join Stampin’ Up! But that is just a small part of the benefits. You get super discounts on all your purchases, you get to attend the annual conventions, you get to be included in a fun community of crafters…I could go on and on. If you join in the month of July, you not only get to pick your Starter Kit worth $125 for only $99, but you also get a whole color collection of brand new stamp pads. That is ten full-size stamp pads in your choice of color collection – at $7.50 apiece, that is a bonus of $75.00 free product. Whew!
Please give this some consideration, then contact me for more info or any questions you have. I would be delighted to chat with you about this opportunity!
So, now is the time! Get a stamping habit going – you will be glad you did!
Have a great weekend! I am heading to Kentucky for a few days to watch my grandson play baseball in a big tournament. This grandma is so excited! I’ll be back online when I return, if I’m not able to connect with you before then. See you soon ~

This is so soft ad pretty, Karen. It’s really refreshing to see this set in a different color palette…and it works so beautifully.
Lovely card.
Nice Karen . . . like the catalog, I passed by this photo.
Have a blessed weekend.
